Week 4

Our big question this week was all about where we would like to go on holiday. So we’ve been talking about places that we have been to, what we’ve liked about holidays we’ve been on, and anywhere we’d like to go in the future. The blossom group were big fans of going to somewhere sunny. They talked about the beach or going to a hotel with a pool to play in!

This week in maths we’ve been recapping all of our 2D shapes. We worked together in pairs to copy a picture deciding which 2D shape we needed. We also talked about how we knew it was a square, rectangle, triangle etc and most importantly where it needed to go to recreate a picture. All the children managed to do it with ease! Well done blossoms.

In our family group we went outside and got a bit messy than usual and used fly swatting tools to splat some bright summer colours onto one big roll of paper! All the children loved watching the paint splat and spread out over the paper.
