Week 3

What a colourful week we have had in our Horse Chestnut group which started with our Big Question on Monday which got the children thinking about how to make Summer colours. We investigated making new colours by mixing two colours together and using white to make the colours lighter. The children are working their little socks off in phonics and are really enjoying the games we have been playing to help them distinguish between the differences in vocal sounds, orally blending and segmenting words. We have been revisiting our numbers 0-10 to really consolidate our understanding of each number and to end the week off we got to play bingo! Which they all loved!!!!
