Week 2

What a lovely week we have had! 

As part of our LCC lessons, we have been talking about how we keep cool in the summer. We carried out a science experiment to see if we could find the coolest place to keep our chocolate buttons from melting...this was very tempting believe me! We developed our fine motor skills by completing a playdough challenge to make a sunflower, and also observed some beautiful flowers then drew them using chalk. We learned about sketching and blending.

We are becoming so much more confident with writing words, remembering to use Fred Fingers to help. Some of the words we had to spell had special friends in them! 

We enjoyed using positional language to describe where something was and even took our figures outside to put them in a place following an instruction. Some words were too easy for us so we also learned; beneath, above and beside.
