Week 1

This week we have been learning about 2D shapes. We looked at circle and square shaped objects from around our nursery. We discussed how many sides each shape has and we ordered them from biggest to smallest. In phonics, we have been learning more about rhyming. We made a silly soup and for our ingredients and we used different objects that rhymed with each other. In dance this week we learnt a new dance to a song from Toy Story called ‘you’ve got a friend in me’ and we used stars to make sounds and actions with whilst we sang some nursery rhymes.
